BIO
Young LA, born Luis Fernando Alfaro in August 2000 in Monroe, Washington, is a bilingual Latin recording artist known for blending hip-hop, Latin, pop, R&B, and rock influences into a sound that connects across cultures and generations. Developing his passion for music at an early age through school band programs, talent shows, and songwriting competitions, eventually winning first place in a high school music competition with an original song.
Young LA quickly discovered his ability to connect with audiences through both English and Spanish music. Building his career independently, Young LA spent years recording music, marketing his brand, and performing while balancing full-time work, earning recognition for his versatility, work ethic, and energetic stage presence. His growing momentum led to opportunities to open for nationally recognized artists including Lil Wayne, Nelly, Ashanti, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, helping establish his name within the independent Latin urban music scene.
In addition to music, Young LA is the founder and CEO of the clothing brand Young Rich Flavor, continuing to expand his artistic identity through fashion, visual storytelling, and bilingual releases. His recent singles, including “Amarte,” “Headiing Downtown,” and “Te Encontré,” showcase emotional melodies, modern Latin influences, and a crossover sound that continues attracting audiences across the U.S. and Latin markets.
Now working alongside project manager JC and recording new music in Atlanta and Seattle, Young LA is focused on upcoming releases, larger performances, and expanding his national presence while staying true to his independent artistry and cultural roots.
